Public Services
Ø Create Unique Identification Number (UIN) for all Indian citizens, residents and foreign nationals travelling to India. Its database to be based on fingerprints, hair & blood samples and genetic information. It would serve the purpose of a common ID for electoral system, criminal database, anti-terrorism profiling, etc.
Ø Setup a centralized toll free Government Call Center (GCC) to register complaints from citizens upon quoting UIN of complainant. Action to be initiated step wise and escalation to be automated from lower to higher level with specific turn-around times.
Ø All application forms for government services to be made accessible either through Internet or GCC.
Ø All public utility/essential service pipelines (like water, telephone, electricity, internet, drainage, etc) to be laid through a common underground utility corridor for easier access without the need to dig roads for their repair work. |
